Biographie / Biography:

Certified Montreal Academy of Music teacher since 2015.

Master's degree in Piano Performance.


Aleksandar obtained his Master’s degree in piano performance from the University of Novi Sad in Serbia as a pianist with highest honors. He is currently pursuing jazz performance studies at the University of McGill.

He has also achieved important results in international piano competitions during his studies in Japan, Cuba, France and Holland.

As part of various artistic projects, he has participated in international music festivals across Europe. In the last several years, he has been focused on jazz music, improvisation, composition and arrangement and has been playing jazz piano in various bands, festivals and jazz venues.

Aleksandar teaches classical piano, jazz improvisation, pop music, and music theory. With more than nine years of experience in piano pedagogy, he is comfortable teaching students of all ages. His passion for music education has inspired him to always design a student's jazz or classical piano lessons around their interests. His distinguishable teaching approach encourages individual student’s preferences and tastes in music.
