Biographie / Biography:

Certified Montreal Academy of Music teacher since 2014.

A 20 year veteran of guitar and performance, Steve has explored almost every style of guitar ranging anywhere from punk rock to jazz. Steve is also a composer of many styles of music with a vast catalogue of original compositions.

Steve earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music with a specialization in Jazz Studies at Vancouver Island University.
It was there that he was mentored by Juno-award winning musician Brad Turner and jazz legend Pat Coleman. Steve has been nominated for two TIMA's (Toronto Independent Music Awards) for Best Blues artist and Best Live Act.
Before moving to Montreal, Steve worked with the Superior Greenstone School Board in Northern Ontario where he taught at severalelementary schools.
