Biographie / Biography:
Certified Montreal Academy of Music teacher since 2017.
Toronto native, Adrienne, quickly grew an interest in music at the young age of 4 years old when her grandmother introduced her to the piano. She began taking music lessons very soon after, and it was obvious that her love for the piano was only growing. Her talent and determination brought her to Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts high school in Toronto where she studied violin and piano and received her Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto (ARCT) Diploma in piano performance in 2013. She continued her musical studies after high school at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario and throughout her musical career, her passion for music has brought her to the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, the Cremona International Music Academy in Italy, and to several other cities in Ontario. Along the way, Adrienne grew an interest in collaborative music from playing as a rehearsal pianist for musical theatre groups, as an accompanist for church choirs and soloists, as a keyboard player in pit orchestras, and as a pianist and violinist in chamber groups.
She began teaching piano in 2013 and has had a diverse group of students ages 5 to 83! Adrienne is a very patient teacher who believes in building meaningful relationships with her students to better adjust her curriculum to suit each person’s needs.
Although Adrienne is a classically trained musician, she enjoys playing and teaching other genres of music such as pop, jazz, r&b, etc.
As a new resident of Quebec, Adrienne is looking forward to building her community of students - and their parents - of all levels and ages!
